The Analog Profiles: Marissa Marino

"It’s so incredibly necessary to just wrap yourself in silence and see how you react. Loneliness is such a difficult state of mind to swallow, but it ultimately has pushed me to make some of my best photographs."

Marissa Marino and her Rolleiflex walked the streets of Northern Europe for five months last year creating art from life. She now resides in Denver, CO, always creating; capturing tender moments in 1/250 second intervals. Her photographs embody fleeting thoughts of loneliness, curiosity, unbridled beauty, and the experience of being a stranger. Her photographs tell stories that I could not. So, for this profile, I’ll let Marissa's work speak for itself.
