Porphyrophile Show Opening - Saturday, October 3rd, 2026

Join us this Saturday, October 3rd from 5:30-8pm for Lindsay Anastasia's show opening in our front gallery!

"Porphyrophile" is a celebration of the color purple captured by photographer Lindsay Anastasia. Comprised of photographs of nature taken on Purple Lomochrome film, this work explores our world bent through the lens of daydream. From majestic pink mushrooms, to lavender tinted tidepools and warm multicolor meadows and forest floors, come explore this alternate world of pastel pinks and purples.

Lindsay Anastasia is a PDX transplant from Chicago, IL where she discovered her love for finding magical pockets in our world and capturing them through a lens. She holds BFAs in Photography and Graphic Design from UIUC, and still has the Coca-Cola can camera she shot with in 7th grade. You can find her scanning your film and moonlighting in the darkroom at Blue Moon Camera & Machine, and otherwise she's hiking to all the wild places and always checking the forest floor for pretty mushrooms!

We can't wait to see you for the celebration!
